Off to AWP!

AWPIt’s that time of year when I overstuff my suitcase and board a plane, train, or automobile to the biggest small press book party in the US. Minneapolis, here I come! If you’re going to AWP and thinking, “you know what I should do? I should say hi to Kit!” (obviously), here’s where you’ll find me:

Selling broadsides, chapbooks, and full-lengths at the Black Lawrence Press table in the book fair Thurs – Sat (table 2030)

Speaking on “The Rise of the Chapbook” panel on Thursday @ 3:00 pm (Room 101 J, Level 1)

Co-hosting BLP’s THE SPOON IS TOO BIG reading Thursday night @ 8:00 pm, Kieran’s Irish Pub

See you in Minneapolis!

15 minutes of Poetry Society Fame + Chapbook goodness

April is Chapbook Month! (Or at least…it is for me!)

To kick things off, my interview on all things chapbook is now live on the Poetry Society of America website. Happy to be representing Black Lawrence Press & the chapbook form!

Speaking of BLP and chapbooks, we’ll be at the CUNY Chapbook Festival book fair tomorrow (Thurs, April 2) from 10 am – 7 pm with our chapbooks and broadsides. And if that isn’t enough chapbook goodness for this first week of National Poetry Month, the Black Lawrence Press Spring 2015 Black River Chapbook Competition is now open and accepting entries of poetry & short fiction through May 31.

Chapbook with us!
