I love connecting with student readers and am available for in-person and virtual visits with your school group, library group, or teen book club.
An hour-long presentation introduces students to the creative and multi-faceted career of being an author, including topics such as inspiration, drafting, revision, rejection, book publication, and beyond. The hour includes time for student questions and signing books.
Local visit: $300 for a single presentation at a school, library, or other organization in the Pittsburgh area (up to 30 min driving distance from my home). I’m happy to travel farther for an increased rate if your Pittsburgh-area organization is located farther away from me; please inquire.
Half day visit: $500 plus travel, lodging, and meals, for up to 2 presentations
Full day visit: $1,000 plus travel, lodging, and meals, for up to 3 presentations
In-person visit fees are negotiable for schools in underserved/underresourced districts. Please inquire!
Virtual visit: $250 for an hour-long presentation and Q&A. (Via Zoom, Google Hangouts, Skype, or whatever platform your school/library uses, as long as it has screen-sharing capabilities.)
Virtual 20 minute Q&A: FREE for school/library/book club groups who have already purchased and read any of my books! I typically recommend that you hold your discussion either before or after I join on Zoom (or via whatever virtual platform you use). Your book club members or student group should come prepared with questions for me!
To request a 20 minute Q&A, please contact me directly via the email contact form above.
